As a space and science education center, Space Camp Turkey is primarily focused on motivating young people from around the world to pursue careers in science, math, and technology. Through interactive, space-related simulations, both youth and adults learn about communication, teamwork, and leadership in a dynamic, fun-filled environment.
Programs at Space Camp Turkey focus on simulators to give participants the sensations of working and living in space. It takes 8 1/2 minutes to reach space, but years to prepare for a real mission. At Space Camp Turkey, we pack years of mission training into 2-Day, 5-Day and 6-Day programs.

The Red Bandanna Project is a collection of social and emotional learning lessons developed, respectively, for elementary, middle and high school classroom use; sports teams and camps/youth programs. The lessons are inspired by the living example of Welles Remy Crowther, equities trader, volunteer firefighter and 9/11 civilian hero, who saved many lives on that day of infamy before losing his own.
The lessons on Leadership, Caring for Others, TEAM, The Power of One, Bridging Divides, Forgiveness and Carpe Diem are non-sequential and interchangeable across age and interest categories. The Red Bandanna Project has been field tested throughout the United States and in Madrid, Spain. The responses from teachers, students, coaches and parents have been overwhelmingly positive and enthusiastic.
For more information, please visit our booth to view our materials and meet two of our lead writers, Vernoy Paolini and Karen Levine.
The Red Bandanna Project is an educational program of the Welles Remy Crowther Charitable Trust, recognized as a not-for-profit organization under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code of the United States.
