join the European League for Middle Level Education (ELMLE). Our
organization currently serves over 50 international schools and
institutions throughout Europe and the greater Mediterranean area.
ELMLE’s annual conference is regularly attended by approximately 300
middle-level educators from around the world.
Joining ELMLE means that you or your school also becomes a dual
member of the National Middle School Association (NMSA). This
unique membership arrangement is designed specifically for

many benefits depending on the membership option you select:
Individual Dual Membership Option:
This membership category is designed for an international educator
with the benefits going directly to that individual.
• 1 year subscription (5 issues) to the acclaimed NMSA
publications- Middle School Journal and Middle Ground, as well as
many on-line resources and publications
• The annual issue of A Bridge in the Middle- ELMLE’s
international education journal
• Discounts on NMSA books, workshops and other professional
development resources
• Significant registration discounts for ELMLE and NMSA annual
conferences
• Eligible to nominate and carry one vote in NMSA and ELMLE
elections
Institutional Dual Membership Option:
This membership category is designed for schools and institutions
with the benefits being shared among the faculty.
• Four sets of a one year subscription (5 issues) to the acclaimed
NMSA publications- Middle School Journal and Middle Ground, as
well as many on-line resources and publications
• Four copies of the annual issue of A Bridge in the Middle-
ELMLE’s international education journal
• Faculty-wide discounts on NMSA books, workshops and other
professional development resources
• Significant faculty-wide registration discounts for ELMLE and
NMSA annual conferences
• Eligible to nominate and carry four votes in NMSA and two votes
in ELMLE elections
Institutional-Plus Dual Membership Option:
This membership category is designed for larger schools and
institutions with the many benefits and copies of publications
more easily shared among the faculty.
• Eight sets of a one year subscription (5 issues) to the
acclaimed NMSA publications- Middle School Journal and Middle

• Eight copies of the annual issue of A Bridge in the Middle-
