University Credit

 

 

ELMLE 2009 CONFERENCE CREDIT

Participants at the ELMLE 2009 Conferencehave the opportunity to obtain one, two or three semester graduate credits from Buffalo State, State University of New York (SUNY).  The cost of the credit is only $85.00 U.S. dollars per credit! The course has a new title:
EDU 594: Model Programs and Strategies for American/International School Educators.

Anyone interested in obtaining one credit must:
    A.    Attend the 3 sessions per day on Friday or Saturday or a pre-conference workshop, Thursday.
    B.     Complete a paper (one-three pages) that overview the sessions attended and explain possible applications from the sessions/workshops to your current teaching and/or administrative responsibilities.

To obtain two credits, individuals must:
    A.    Attend the 3 sessions per day on Friday and Saturday or
Attend the 3 sessions per day on Friday or Saturday and a pre-conference workshop, Thursday.
    B.     Complete two papers (one-three pages) that overview the sessions attended and explain possible applications from the sessions/workshops to your current teaching and/or administrative responsibilities.

To obtain three credits, individuals must:

  1. Attend a pre-conference workshop, Thursday, 3 sessions on Friday and 3 sessions on Saturday.

Registration forms for the credit are available at the ELMLE web-site:  www.elmle.org or by contacting our staff at Intlearning@buffalostate.edu  either before or after the Conference. To register for credit please submit the following by May 01, 2008:

  1. Your completed registration form indicating the number of credits that you want to apply for through the ELMLE Conference.

 

  1. A photocopy of your diploma or transcript verifying the receipt of your undergraduate degree. Your degree must be the equivalent of a United States Bachelor’s degree.
  1. A personal check, certified check, traveler’s check or money order (sorry, no credit cards) made payable to the “Research Foundation of SUNY”. Please submit your payment using trackable mail such as Fed. Ex. or DHL.

 

  1. Required papers, registration forms, and copies of your diploma or transcripts can be sent by email, fax, or submitted with your payment.
