Recruiting at ELMLE! The European League for Middle Level Education also provides a forum for both administrators seeking to hire middle level teachers, as well as an avenue for teacher candidates who are looking for future employment, to meet recruiting administrators. While most teachers use this opportunity to recruit for the upcoming school year, it has also been used to learn more about schools teachers might want to work for in the future. Recruiters who are registered for the conference will be invited to be included on a list of recruiting schools that will be posted on our website. Candidates who plan on attending the conference should check the list, go to the school website to learn about specific openings, and contact the administrator directly to arrange meetings at the conference. In addition, there will be an opportunity for candidates to arrange interviews at the conference. A message board, as well as a folder system, will be available at the conference to both recruiters and candidates to facilitate communication during the conference. Candidates are encouraged to put resumes in recruiter’s folders. Candidates are encouraged to bring copies of recruitment materials including resumes and references. These recruiting opportunities will be free for all registered participants of the conference. Are you a teacher interested recruiting?
